Healthy Back Institute Operations Project Manager in Austin, Texas

Project Manager- Remote- Consumer Goods, Fast Paced- Operations Focused

HBI’s Project Manager role will work closely with various internal teams and key stakeholders, providing project support and management across HBI and cross-functionally supporting Operations, Finance, and People Operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have deep experience in

  • Managing small and large projects companywide from inception to delivery in a fast-paced DTC, consumer goods environment.

  • Creating organized, efficient standards to work, systematically creating successful Project Management functionality companywide.

  • Driving people and projects with excellent communication, organization, and technological skills, creating a positive, productive, measurable atmosphere.

The Healthy Back Institute is a fast-paced, highly technical, data-driven organization with many projects to manage.

The projects at HBI can be urgent, with short-term timelines of as few as two weeks to much longer projects lasting a few months. Our team is a very dynamic, transparent, highly collaborative, and creative team that pivots on the fly. The PM will need to be very precise, somewhat sociable, and be able to drive people, processes, and plans to completion in a very positive, influential, assertive manner. You must be ok with changing course mid-stream, seeing what's down the road, mitigating any risk, and being an amazing, persuasive communicator with a layer of tough skin and a smile.

This role is very important to the organization's accomplishments as it will drive goal attainment and company-wide success through establishing project governance, preparing project plans and schedules, coordinating resources, tracking progress, managing risk, and delivering projects that are complete, on time, and under budget.

Qualifications We Seek

  • 6+ years experience in companywide, cross-functional Project Management.

  • Managing both short and medium-term project timelines.

  • Must have experience managing projects in a robust PM software platform, preferably WRIKE.

  • A great communicator who knows how to communicate with various stakeholders.

  • Experience working effectively with remote teams.

  • Experience in resource management.

  • Experience establishing a PM department from scratch and creating processes, procedures, and service level agreements highly desired but not required.

  • PMP certification is a plus but not required.

  • Hours of Operation are 9:00-6:00 PM CST. This is a REMOTE role. 

  • This role can be contract-to-hire and/or full-time W2.
