Description
There's an exciting opportunity for a professional Bookkeeper through Robert Half at a growing Non-Profit firm. Having a strong set of social skills and a team work ethic would make you a prime candidate for this position. This role would be on a long-term contract / temporary to hire basis, and located in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
Responsibilities
Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
Examine payments received and record deposits
Maintain quality historical records by filing documents
Maintain and balance general ledger
Balance accounts by reconciling entries
Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
Invoice reconciliation experience highly desired
Knowledge of Invoice Entry
Previous experience working with Coding Invoices
Prior experience with Invoice
Practical knowledge of Post Invoices
Excel Formulas experience desired
General familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)
Demonstrated knowledge of Quickbooks ProAdvisor
Invoice Coding experience preferred
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Practical knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Comprehension of Enter Invoices
Foundational knowledge in Invoice Processing
Experience with customer invoices
Background working with Code Invoices
Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Invoices
Invoice Discrepancies experience desired
Deep understanding of Invoice Payment
Good understanding of Coding Invoices
Hands-on experience with Enter Vendor Invoices
Foundational knowledge in Quickbooks Online
Approved Invoices experience highly valued
Quickbooks Premier experience highly desired
Adeptness in QuickBooks Pro
General familiarity with Payable Invoices
Command of Microsoft Excel
Aging Accounts experience highly preferred
Adeptness in Manual Invoices
Earlier work involving Approved Invoices
Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred
Previous experience using accounting software
