We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Construction Project Manager (MEP) in the Bronx, NY who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running like they should. In this role, you’ll lead coordination of multiple various construction projects in occupied healthcare facility. Reporting to the Program Director, you’ll provide weekly and monthly reports of project progress. You’ll monitor contractor adherence to safety plans, facility safety, and ICRA requirements. You’ll coordinate ongoing work with the facility engineering team daily and track progress of work for adherence to contractor schedules. You’ll review monthly contractor invoices and provide recommendations for payment as well as review contractor forecasts and monthly schedule updates and provide feedback. You’ll schedule, chair, and provide minutes for bi-weekly progress and coordination meetings with the contractors and client personnel. You’ll review contractors change orders and provide recommendations for justification and cost and monitor project documentation including submittals, RFIs, bulletins, contract changes, and invoices. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your internal and external team and the surrounding environment. As a passionate leader, you’ll take ownership of the project and leverage your people management skills to safely deliver quality projects, on schedule and within budget.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering

  • 15 years’ experience as a Construction Manager with responsibility for three (3) or more phases of construction namely pre-design, design, procurement, construction and post-construction phases

  • OSHA 40

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 5 years’ experience in healthcare construction/rehabilitation projects

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE) credential

The base salary range for this position is $155,000 to $205,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
