CAMBA Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp), Human Resources Department in Brooklyn, New York

CAMBA’s Human Resources Department manages all aspects of human resources and administrative functions such as onboarding, employee benefits, compensation, recruitment, interviewing, hiring new staff, and performance measurement/appraisal.
Position: Talent Acquisition Associate (Temp)
Reports To: Director of Talent Acquisition
Location: 1720 Church Ave Brooklyn NY 11225
What The Talent Acquisition Associate Does:
Support the design and restructure of Talent Acquisition and support implement the recruitment process
Assists with job posting and advertisement processes as needed or in the absence of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Screen resumes and applications to select qualified candidates based on relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitude
Prepares interview questions and selection materials
Performs first round screening of potential candidate
Attends and participates in job fair and recruiting sessions promoting
Working with a variety of sources, both external and internal, to source best candidates for open positions.
Working with hiring managers to make candidate determinations
Prepare and execute job offers
Manage the recruitment life-cycle
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s preferred.
Other Requirements:
Two (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization.
Basic analytical & math skills.
Good written & verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Computer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products.
Experience with Human Resources Information Systems & Applicant Tracking System.
Compensation: $24-$27 per hour
When salary ranges are listed, the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and candidate. This includes but is not limited to experience, education, budget and/or program size, internal equity, skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.
Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)
