Based in Marlow the Senior Manager, International Medical Communications has the responsibility of acting as the lead Medical Reviewer across all therapy areas but with a potential focus in Eyecare. They will attend, advise, and approve on all aspects of International Advertising and Promotional Compliance (IAPC) in Steering Committee meetings. The International Medical Communications Sr. Manager will also be responsible for providing proactive guidance as needed for brand concepts and campaigns as well as maintaining on-going communication with therapeutic area peers in Medical Affairs

Key Responsibilities

  • To attend, advise, and approve in SteeringCommittee meetings as the lead Medical Reviewer for IAPC promotional reviewteams.

  • Lead and contribute to medical promotional reviewto support medically sound organisational initiatives.

  • Function as lead Medical Reviewer and sign-offfor all promotional materials.

  • Actively maintain established unified culturefor IAPC Review.

  • Provide proactive guidance as needed for brandconcepts and campaigns.

  • Engage with commercial business partners earlyin the development of promotional materials to enhance efficiency.

  • On-going communication with therapeutic areapeers in Medical Affairs and alignment with Medical Affairs, when applicable

Education and Experience

  • Advanced health science education or equivalentcombination of education and experience required. (PhD, PharmD, MPharm, MD, MB [BS,ChB, Bch], BAO or equivalent preferred)

  • Proven track record in clinical practice,academic research, pharmaceuticals, regulatory/scientific, or medical liaisonenvironment

  • Previous experience as Regulatory/Compliance orMedical reviewer for international promotional materials preferred.

  • Familiarity with Zinc is desirable

Essential Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to learn and convey clinical andnon-clinical technical information effectively

  • Strong communication skills, both oral andwritten, with proven ability to effectively present to audiences of varyinglevels

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects andproduct responsibilities

  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
