Description We are looking for a Tax Preparer to join our team in Campbell, California, 95008, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing personal, trust, and gift tax returns, managing and coordinating estimated tax payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and engaging in detailed proactive income tax planning and projections for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review personal, trust, and gift tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Engage in detailed proactive income tax planning and projections for our clients

• Manage and coordinate estimated tax payments, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for a small portfolio of clients

• Download, organize, and save client monthly account statements

• Prepare and distribute engagement letters for trust tax clients

• Support strategic projects as required

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software, Microsoft Excel, and other tools for tax planning strategies

• Apply knowledge of estate tax laws and individual tax return procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Tax Preparer

• Proficiency in Lacerte Tax Software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Extensive knowledge in Estate Tax

• Familiarity with Tax Planning Strategies

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is required

• Experience in Individual Tax Return preparation is essential
