- Review plans for new products to understand the product specifications and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives.
- Develop a wide range of testing methods directly related to the quality control and quality assurance fields, including statistical analysis, control sampling and quality data analysis and evaluation.
- Manage material testing process to ensure the standards of safety and quality are met.
- Prepare reports and translate testing results into our new product concepts based on budget plans.
- Gather failure data and analyze product issues to understand the problems and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide technical support and supervise the work of technicians.
- Maintain awareness of new and/or alternate raw materials, processes, equipment, and competitive product development through continuous research using various electronic publications and industry networking opportunities.
