As part of Emerson’s ongoing Foundations project, we are looking for a candidate that will be part of a globally distributed team who is dedicated to building reports in the new Cloud environment serving our Finance teams across the world. This candidate will have exposure to financial reporting needs, analytical work, hands-on training in report building skills in the Oracle environment.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Within the new Oracle environment, build standardized reports for the following working areas:

• FP&A, Tax, Actuals, Profit Review, etc...

• Tools you will learn and leverage to assist in this role include the Oracle Narrative Reporting toolset for reports run from Enterprise Planning & Budgeting (EPB), Financial Consolidation & Close (FCC), and Enterprise Data Management (EDM) modules.

• Build, maintain, and interpret detailed report design documents related to reporting deliverables – to help guide report building activities.

• Employ a customer-service mentality and excellent communication skills to interact with the Global Enterprise Finance teams, Business Divisions, World Areas, and peer report-building team located globally to coordinate results.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance and accounting or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of broad Finance experience in global companies

• Experience in operational improvements

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of financial reports, finance processes, and key concepts in finance and accounting.

• Experience with any ERP/EPM report building tools (on-prem or Cloud), SmartView (with VB Excel), on-prem HFM, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Financial Reporting will be a plus.

• Experience with any other analytic/multi-dimension tool like Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, or other analytics tools is also a plus.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines. Agile development experience is a plus.
