Description:

Seeking an experience Project Manager with extensive TXDOT and roadway experience. Candidate will be involved in the full cycle of roadway projects from start to finish. Responsibilities are below:

-Leading and coordinating with design throughout the entirety of the project

-Schedules and coordinates meetings with project team, client, regulatory agencies and others involved

-Tracks and manages budget (including expenses, manhours, costs, etc.) and communicates progress to senior staff

-Actively seeks out new business opportunities within the roadway/highway sector, plans and participates in project presentations to necessary groups, promotes the firm's capabilities, and markets services to existing and prospective clients

-Prepares contract terms and carries out negotiations on behalf of the company with both clients and subcontractors

-Prepares project work plan to distribute to the team which includes: scope, schedule, budget, etc to ensure project reaches highest level of quality

Roadway design, Transpiration Design, TXDOT, Professional engineer, Transportation engineering, Project Management, municipality, Design, Open Roads, civil 3d, Engineering Calculations, Microstation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Engineering

-10+ years of roadway/transportation engineering experience

-PS&E and/or Schematic process knowledge is require

-Excellent technical and interpersonal skills

-Must have a strong sense of project financial management and team management skills

-Previously established TXDOT relationships to drive business is highly preferred

-Texas PE license or ability to obtain one within 6 months
