ENGINEER CO-OP

POSITION SUMMARY

The Engineer Co-op will be given projects throughout the term that will involve problem solving, design and basic engineering techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with engineering design reviews as requested.

CAD design and drafting based upon project requirements.

Performs trouble shooting and problem solving both alone and within larger groups with varying difficulties.

Works to gain overall knowledge and proficiencies with Aerospace specifications and regulations.

Testing and training of new processes.

Develops manufacturing aids or fixtures.

Assists Product Engineers with managing and execution of projects.

Update and maintain various documents used in the manufacturing process.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to work variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Good standing in College of Engineering.

Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Actively pursuing and engineering degree at an accredited university interest in Manufacturing and Aerospace.

Strong word processing and/or data entry skills.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated strong work ethic and ability to drive tasks to completion.

Optional: basic understanding of 3D modeling and 3D printing.
