Job Description Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resources department.
Job Description
Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc; refers more complex questions to the appropriate human resources staff
Provides clerical support to the human resources department
Makes all new hire and replacement name badges
Assists with planning and execution of special human resources events including benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, etc.
Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
Collect, sort and distribute all incoming mail for the Human Resources department
Serve as first point of contact for the Human Resources department for all incoming calls and visitors into the department
Respond to reference checks and verification of employment status requests
Assist HR leadership with special projects as assigned
Follow up with appropriate HR team members to obtain necessary information to address questions or concerns or complete handoff
Others duties as assigned
