Job Description Summary

The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the human resources department.

Job Description

• Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc; refers more complex questions to the appropriate human resources staff

• Provides clerical support to the human resources department

• Makes all new hire and replacement name badges

• Assists with planning and execution of special human resources events including benefits enrollment, employee recognition events, etc.

• Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department

• Collect, sort and distribute all incoming mail for the Human Resources department

• Serve as first point of contact for the Human Resources department for all incoming calls and visitors into the department

• Respond to reference checks and verification of employment status requests

• Assist HR leadership with special projects as assigned

• Follow up with appropriate HR team members to obtain necessary information to address questions or concerns or complete handoff

• Others duties as assigned
