The BOTOX® Cosmetic Associate Product Director reports to the Executive Director of Professional marketing, Facial Aesthetics. This person will be responsible for oversight of key professional marketing initiatives, which includes competitive defense planning and execution, HCP website optimization, program reports and analytics, sample forecasting and management, and advertising/promotional activities at conventions. This position will assist the Brand Director in strategic planning, which includes in-depth knowledge of market research and data analysis to identify trends in the market. This individual will also compile and organize competitive intelligence and will organize/coordinate the monthly field input calls and bi-annual ad board meetings. This individual will draft field communications/announcements, manage updates of promotional collateral, and will work closely with agency partners to ensure effective MLR reviews. This individual will effectively collaborate with medical, legal, regulatory, sales training, marketing operations, sales analytics and field sales.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Program Management :
Competitive DefensePlanning and Execution- The PM will be responsible for creating and implementing competitive defense plans to ensure the business is protected against existing and new competitive products.
HCP WebsiteOptimization -The PM is responsible for measuring the performance of the current HCP website. Assess user activity and make recommendations to optimize content. PM will lead the integration of new products into the current HCP website, including content development, agency management, and coordination with AGN IS.
Program Reports andAnalytics – PM to coordinate with Sales Analytics and various analytics vendors to outline measurable goals for various marketing programs. PM will also then analyze each program and report out on relevant metrics.
Sample Forecasting andManagement – The PM will be responsible for maintaining an accurate sample forecast and coordinate any changes to the forecast with the Demand and Supply teams. Handles field inquiries and issues pertaining to sample requests.
Promotional Activitiesat Conventions – PM will evaluate the promotional opportunities at convention and society meetings to ensure appropriate brand presence at major meetings. Will manage the budget and content development related to all society initiatives. #LI-PD1
Field communications: Develop regular brand communications and updates for field sales, including coordination of MLR approvals prior to sending. Insure that sales portal is up to date and information is easily accessed, coordinate MLR approvals. Coordinate with the agency to ensure Hi-Box reflects key resources and ensure that expired resources are removed promptly. Respond field requests and questions in a timely fashion.
Analytics and Competitive Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate sales trends; analyze competitive activities; produce monthly sales and marketing reports; be well versed in relevant market research reports. Identify trends, barriers and opportunities for the filler brands
MLRManagement and Submissions: Evaluate quarterly re-approval needs and coordinate with agencies to ensure re-approvals requests are raised prior to expiration. Coordinate the removal of expired pieces across various channels. Assist in quality checking submissions for MLR review or final approval. Attend steering meetings and ensure guidance is accurately reflected in final pieces.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or medical device marketing/agency is preferred OR Minimum 5 years field sales experience on medical device or pharmaceutical products is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree in Business preferred
