Job Responsibilities

• Bridge gap between business and technology by leading technical requirements gatherings and establishing integration approaches for each unique project.

• Assemble large data sets of clinical outcomes. Manipulate and process large multisource data sets to decipher and identify clinically relevant findings that inform scientific projects and improve treatment recommendations for patients.

• Develop Data Ingestion and Integration from data sources to Data Lake and/or Data Warehouse. Establish external access and ETL strategies with multiple EMR systems and assemble query complex data from databases, perform in depth analysis and decipher computational data.

• Utilize experience programming and scripting skills with VB.net, C++, Perl, Python, shell scripting and/or Java. Utilize experience in relational databases including Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL. Deploy ETL solutions using Mirth Connect, SSIS, Pentaho, CloverETL and/or other ETL tools.

• Utilize experience in IT technologies, security architecture and system life-cycle phases. Establish access to electronic medical records across multiple platforms using direct database access, FHIR, HL7, APIs or other standard or non-standards methods. Implement Direct access for healthcare organizations and clinics.

• In connection with above duties, utilize experience in: developing interfaces on Cloverleaf; creating Tcl Procs and Xlates for data mapping; implementing interfaces for cancer assessment on various data formats; building and transitioning interfaces from Mirth, Rhapsody to Ensemble; formulating design specifications and programming interface code; using cache and Ensemble iStudio designed interfaces upon business requirement; performing necessary SDA, Pre & Post processor transformations meeting CDR standards; developing interfaces on Interface ware Iguana using Lua code; implementing HIE for Risk stratification and Risk Adjustment reduce risk and providing on time care; implementing HL7 (2.x/CDA) interface for ambulatory, acute care and X12 implementation for EDI X12 5010 278/820 with multiple payers; FHIR standards and implementation methodologies; performing ETL using SSIS and warehouse concepts; providing and implementing necessary interop changes to meet deliverables on-time; conducting Sprint planning by grooming, retro, backlog grooming and product owner prioritization; introducing scrum-ban to slowly transition to Kanban model; designing and developing SSIS packages using SQL and warehouse concepts; building and managing essential code templates and libraries in Mirth Connect with CI/CD; integrating Mirth connect with AWS cloud infrastructure; migrating, upgrading and managing Mirth infrastructure in coordination with LIS and other downstream systems; managing change control meetings; building FHIR infrastructure and essential components in Mirth using necessary CI/CD processes; converting the HL7 messages into necessary format and storing data in the MYSQL and SQL databases per architecture and making it easy for FHIR interface; practitioner to Solution architect level cloud platform experience; building VPC's, User access management via role based and multi factor in AWS cloud; monitoring resources and applications using AWS cloud watch; creating alarms to monitor metrics such as EBA, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, SNS; designing and managing Amazon web services, including EC2, S3, ClounFront, Elastic File system, RDS, VPC, Direct Connect Route53, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, Cloud Formation and IAM roles; implementing & supporting XDR Direct Portal interfaces with Transition of care, Precision Oncology and other clinical CCD interfaces; interfacing with external HISP's - AOC-HOC, SES- Secure Exchange Solutions and implementing direct solution for various health care pioneers; and implementing BIG-DATA platform for HIE interfaces using Mongo DB, Apache Spark, HDFS, Zookeeper, and Ambari.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field plus 2 years’ experience in job offered or 2 years’ experience in related occupation using experience in the following:

• Developing interfaces on Cloverleaf.

• Creating Tcl Procs and Xlates for data mapping.

• Implementing interfaces for cancer assessment on various data formats.

• Building and transitioning interfaces from Mirth, Rhapsody to Ensemble.

• Formulating design specifications and programming interface code

• Using cache and Ensemble iStudio designed interfaces upon business requirement.

• In lieu of master’s degree, employer will accept bachelor’s degree in above listed fields plus 5 years of progressive work experience in related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
