Henry Ford Health System Nursing Home Administrator / Director of Nursing - Hospice Residence - Full Time - Days in Jackson, Michigan

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for organizing, directing, and evaluating all management and clinical operations for the provision of continuing care in the nursing home setting. Provides administrative oversight and direction to Hospice home staff ensuring the delivery and continuous improvement of quality services that meet customer needs and expectations in a financially sound manner. Key responsibilities include establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals and objectives of the Hospice Home that meet and promote the standards of quality while contributing to the success and viability of Henry Ford Health - Jackson and its Mission.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • Minimum of three (3) years as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator OR Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare facility, home health or hospice in a supervisory position

  • Proven track record of annual survey compliance results at State and Federal Average Level

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator License within one (1)-year of hire date

  • Active Nursing License

  • Valid Driver’s license and dependable vehicle insured as required by the State of Michigan

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Active Nursing Home Administrator License

  • Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations, and Joint Commission Standards
