Job Description:

Onsite Mailroom Postage Operator

Lexington, Ky

Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00/hr.

Monday – Friday 12:30pm-9pm

As a Postage Operator, you will play a crucial role in our mail processing operations by ensuring that prepared mail is accurately sealed and stamped using postage meter machines. Your ability to handle repetitive tasks, work with heavy mail totes, and effectively manage the postage meter machine will contribute to the smooth and efficient mailing process. This role offers growth potential and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate postage meter machines to seal and stamp prepared mail accurately and efficiently.

• Lift and handle mail totes weighing 25 lbs. or more routinely, ensuring safe and proper handling.

• Move APC's (All-Purpose Containers) and carts filled with mail within the facility.

• Maintain an organized and orderly work area, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary for this role is $23560-$29450.
