The Laminators will laminate layers of fiberglass on molds, mix catalysts into resin, and select fiberglass mats and cloth as required by projects being assembled. Experience preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidates. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Select fiberglass materials, mix catalysts into resin and apply using rollers and brushes. Apply layers of plastic resin to mold surfaces prior to placement of fiberglass mats, repeating layers until products have the desired thicknesses and plastics have gelled. Prep and paint parts using spray application. Sanding and grinding of fiberglass parts. Assist other departments as necessary. Maintain awareness of and continually practice safe work habits; maintain a safe work environment. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED A willingness to learn High level of attention to detail Must be able to pass a background check / Must be able to pass a drug screen Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work in all weather conditions Willingness to wear a respirator during your shift COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions available)
