WESCOR, INC. HR Generalist in LOGAN, Utah

Summary

Assists the HR Manager in performing activities in the Human Resource Department including benefit review, recruiting, employee surveys, record maintenance, and employee support activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the hiring process i.e., recruiting, interviewing, screening, and placing employees.
  • Gathers and analyzes data using HR metrics such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.
  • Assists in the administration of the employee benefits program.
  • Provides support to employees in various HR-related topics.
  • Helps promote HR programs.
  • Maintains employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working within the HR Department.
  • Exhibits the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Assists with related special projects, as required.

Qualifications

Two to three years of related experience and/or training. Human Resource certifications preferred, but not required. Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures. Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
