AIG Senior Pricing Management Information Analyst in London, United Kingdom

Make your mark in Actuarial

Our Actuaries are on the front lines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIG’s major insurance operating companies, globally. We collaborate with Finance, Claims, Operations, Marketing and Risk Management, among other functions. As an AIG actuary, you will be challenged and encouraged to reach your greatest potential to help improve how we predict, manage and mitigate risk.

How you will create an impact

As a Senior Pricing MI Analyst, you will help produce Pricing MI and align to Pricing Effectiveness across a wide range of product lines globally. You will work with senior stakeholders across the business, including our Chief Actuaries, and gain excellent experience as part of a global team.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Work with wider support team to implement reporting based on defined requirements and standardised definitions

  • Support development of portfolio-level reporting and ensuring adoption of Pricing Effectiveness standards

  • Support with strategic initiatives including the wider roll out of Pricing MI

  • Ownership of key processes and controls feeding into Pricing MI

  • Review of BAU activities including QA and production environments

  • Support and liaise with the data team to increase data coverage and accuracy

  • Prepare materials to communicate key messages to senior committees

  • Liaise with PMI champions to help design and enhance reporting

  • Align with product actuaries to sunset existing local reports with strategic solutions

  • Help establish PMI as a centre of excellence supporting key business areas

  • Support strategic lead with ad-hoc initiatives

    What we’re looking for

  • Experience of working with actuarial pricing metrics

  • Experience of working with MI / regulatory systems globally in a large multinational company

  • Coding experience in Snowflake, SQL and Python

  • PowerBI experience

  • Good understanding of visual data / dashboards

  • Strong data analysis and investigative skills

  • Excellent communicator with experiencing of managing senior stakeholders
