DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. Operations Manager in Los Angeles, California
Directs, administers and coordinates the operations of the site in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the General Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing Production, Inventory and Supply Chain operations. This position must work closely with first tier management to develop policies and set goals that cover company operations, personnel, financial performance and growth. The Operations Manager must also maximize efficiency and reduce process time and manufacturing costs.
Leadership:

Operations:
Responsible for overseeing and providing strategic management of operations for site, including coaching, evaluating and developing employees to achieve desired results
Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors
Required to maintain high level of Quality, OTD, and Customer Satisfaction
Help generate and meet or exceed quarterly goals in alignment with QMS Quality Objectives
Keep expenses at or below proposed budget
Enhance system capabilities and promote a culture of Continuous Improvement
Ensure employees are cross-trained to an increasing set of skill levels to keep the work force fresh, versatile and productive
Maintain balanced production capacity and optimized utilization
Evaluate the results of the site-level operations regularly and systematically
Create, maintain, improve, utilize and enforce Processes to minimize operational variation
Ensure compliance and evolution to safety and health procedures
Management:
Develop and lead staff members to achieve optimum process efficiency, output, and quality
Embed lean six sigma operational concepts into factories (one piece flow, VA vs NVA, DMAIC, root cause analysis and corrective action)
Work with management to create and maintain high employee satisfaction
Ensure optimal coaching and staff development to achieve company objectives
Act as liaison between necessary teams to achieve a desired outcome
Provide effective leadership and motivate the staff
Administration:
Resolve and all production problems effectively and in a timely manner
Implement and maintain 5S throughout facility
Respond efficiently to both internal and external customer inquires
Review and address staff performance issues
Keep in line with company’s accredited certifications and safety policy
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Work Environment: Office environment where the noise level is generally quiet to moderately noisy
Work Position: Primarily standing/walking
