The Director, Business Systems – International Supply Chain and Order to Cash position will act as the subject matter expert to identify and recommend solutions to business clients supporting Supply Chain and Order to Cash business processes in Europe (EMEA), Asia Pacific (APAC), and Latin America (LATAM) countries.
The Director will work with regional business leads and cross functional teams to understand requirements, plan new project demand, and oversee project execution as part of a portfolio. Additionally, the role will be responsible for investigating, estimating, planning, analysis, design, develop, and implementation of quality solutions.
The position will be Based in Madison, NJ, and will require about 20% travel to regional locations as required.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Lead, the planning and oversight of projects in international markets.
Provide points of view on the Solution Platform and vendor marketplace.
Support the business development life cycle by serving as a solution SME and assisting with the identification and qualification of business development opportunities.
Help lead and contribute to the estimation effort for relevant proposals and/or projects.
Manage vendor relationships related to project proposal and execution.
Advise organizations on how to pivot to leverage the global single instance SAP enabling flexibility and adaptability within our client organizations.
Scope and deliver technology innovation services.
Apply Design Thinking as an approach to solve client problems.
Manage multiple delivery methodologies & operating models.
Lead teams across multiple stages of the project delivery lifecycle.
The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:
Minimum 7+ years’ experience in technology consulting.
Minimum 7+ years' experience with Order to Cash business processes and corresponding functionality in SAP ECC 6.0 SD/MM/WM including Sales Order Management, Distribution, Logistics, Warehouse Management, 3PL Integration, Billing, Service /Warranty Management, and Intercompany Tradeflows.
5 years of Project Management Experience.
5 years or more experience in managing people (direct and indirect reports).
Understanding of Pharmaceutical and/or Life Sciences experience operating GxP Validated systems as it applies to Order to Cash processes.
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Strong client communication and relationship building skills.
Experience with Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, and Integrations.
Experience with planning and implementing SAP S/4HANA.
Application integration experience with SAP in particular data design, databases, web services, interfaces, & hardware considerations.
Confidence in conveying both high-level and detailed information, adjusting the way ideas are presented to better address varying social styles and audiences.
Experience managing large teams through complex situations, adapting quickly and helping others navigate change.
Experience working through organizational change, developing and implementing creative solutions and closely partnering with clients to regularly confirm expectations are met and value delivered.
Clear understanding of key methodologies, approaches and market trends in the industry.
Prior experience with business cases and shaping client value propositions
Passion for technology trends e.g. Internet of Things, Mobility, Cloud Integration, Analytics.
- BA/BS degree is required; advanced degree, MBA, is preferred.
