Strategic Merchandising Leader
Direct hire position
Salary up to $120K with bonus
Outstanding benefits and working culture
Remote opportunity with quarterly travel to Madison Wisconsin (paid)
No direct reports, but will own merchandising strategy!
As Our Strategic Merchandising Leader You Will
Develop and implement the company's strategic merchandising vision
Create category-specific engagements, landing pages, product recommendations, solution-oriented experiences in collaboration with executive leaders, product managers, and marketing subject matter experts
Leverage your merchandising expertise to enhance customer engagement and boost revenue
Curate and manage the products' presentation across all channels (digital and print), ensuring optimal placement, storytelling, visual appeal, and user friendliness
Utilize analytics and sales data to monitor product performance, identifying trends and opportunities for sales improvement, conversion rates, AOV, items per order, and customer engagement
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to propose innovative ideas for enhancing the customer shopping experience
Expect to dedicate about 70% of your time developing strategies and 30% executing them
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Minimum 8 years experience in leading merchandising, e-commerce, and digital marketing strategies
Expertise in data analysis and ability to draw actionable insights from web analytics
Proficiency with SEO principles and their application to increase online visibility
Creative mindset with an eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in creating and presenting strategies to influence executive leadership
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
