The Strategic Accounts Services (SAS) program seeks to improve the customer and Seller experience on Amazon by working directly with Sellers to improve value, selection and convenience across their business. Our team invents and innovates across technology, processes and people to grow the program, improve Seller engagement and satisfaction and enable scalable growth solutions through direct cooperation with our teams across the EU.

SAS Pro is seeking a dynamic and motivated Strategic Business Consultant to develop Sellers and to help grow our newly launched Paid Services programs. Our Pro program is a growth service targeting larger, more established Sellers in the early stages of growth. These Sellers span a wide range of categories from fashion to consumables. The Strategic Business Consultant is responsible for working with a group of 12-15 Selling Partners, offering support with multiple growth levers such as creative marketing and advertising, optimizing supply chain, and strategizing deal plan to drive sales, all tailored to Seller needs. You will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding Sellers to this new service and will be their primary point of contact. This is an opportunity to shape a key new growth program in Amazon’s EU marketplace and support the growth of our Sellers.

The Strategic Business Consultant will be responsible for building long-term relationships with decision makers. You will also be responsible for developing key processes, tools and content for this new service. You will work closely alongside colleagues in Europe, and have many opportunities to develop your career at Amazon.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, have a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and be comfortable operating in an fast-paced, ambiguous environment given the early stage of the SAS programs and the wide spectrum of Sellers.

Key job responsibilities

•Manage a portfolio of 12-15 Sellers within Fashion, Grocery, and more to drive sustainable revenue growth, based on a solid understanding of marketplace programs, tools and processes

•Recruit: Identify, qualify, and engage with prospective Selling Partners for SAS based on a clear understanding of our Sellers and their needs

•Analyze customer data on the efficiency of listings, selection, supply chain, advertising, brand and deals and provide strategic recommendations to maximize the Sellers’ potential

•Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your Seller portfolio. Use key metrics to guide your work and uncover new areas of opportunity

•Understand and utilize CRM tools, such as Salesforce to track all pertinent account information and sales progress

•Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews to your clients

•Develop a thorough understanding of the Amazon Marketplace ecosystem

•Manage additional projects around our newly launched Paid Service, which includes process improvements, tool and content development, competitive analysis, and sales analysis

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles

  • Experience translating customer needs into business requirements

  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent

  • Experience working with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce) and other systems

  • Ability to work in a complex, cross-functional team environment (including technical, marketing, design and merchandising teams), chasing down and following up on dependencies, mitigating risks, and escalating when necessary
