NH Job Corps is seeking a qualified individual with a passion for customer service who can make a real difference in the lives of our students. You will be the individual who sources the materials, services, and equipment that will make a difference in our students' education. With your superior customer service, you will build relationships with our current and future vendors and contractors, sourcing our center's materials, services, and equipment.

As the Purchasing Agent at NHJC, you will hold a crucial position in the center's financial stability. You will manage the budget by sourcing materials, services, and equipment. Your coordination with other departments will ensure the timely delivery of services and supplies, contributing to the center's smooth operation. Your meticulousness will be key in shaping the students' career paths.

About New Hampshire Job Corps (NHJC)

Job Corps is the country's largest nationwide residential career training program and has been operating for more than 50 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.

At Job Corps, students can access rooms and boards while learning skills in specific training areas for up to three years. In addition to helping students complete their education, obtain career technical skills, and gain employment, Job Corps also provides transitional support services, such as help finding employment, housing, child care, and transportation. Job Corps graduates either enter the workforce or an apprenticeship, pursue higher education, or join the military.

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited school required

  • Three to five years of experience, including oversight of contracts and subcontracts and experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations, is preferred.

  • Department of Labor approval required
