Our client, a well known Law Firm, is currently looking for a Legal Billing Coordinator for a temporary opportunity in Manhattan. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of four years of Billing in a Law Firm setting and a Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. 3E Software is REQUIRED.

Responsibilities of the Legal Billing Specialist will include:

• Analyzing billing materials for compliance with client guidelines, fee agreements, rate discounts, and firm policies
• Working closely with partners, legal, and support staff to resolve any billing issues and ensure compliance
• Working with E-Billing Specialists to ensure successful transmission of invoices
• Performing write-offs and adjustments

Qualifications of the Legal Billing Specialist include:

• Experience using 3E software REQUIRED
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (V-lookups, IF Functions, and Pivot Tables)
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 4 years of Legal Billing experience
