Job Description The Product Manager will be a part of a group that oversees several product line contributions as a business unit. This extends from increasing the success of existing products to developing new products and features for the company. The individual will be responsible for issuer products business and have a broad product responsibility, as well as the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product or product line. The role will work with cross-functional teams and may include marketing, sales, technology, support and other commercialization responsibilities. This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. A Product Manager provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between engineering, technical product, marketing, sales, and support. Essential Functions: Support and execute product strategy and business requirement for new features or products Manage a group of products, and support features of products Provide leadership and project direction to others within the group Create product strategy and business requirement for new features or products Be responsible for product vision and continuous improvement of features and/or products Lead and obtain strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholders. Interface with the Technical Product Managers to ensure the development and functional requirements deliver the overall business vision Communicate key messages and engage effectively with many diverse functional stakeholders through the product lifecycle. Interface with Sales, Marketing, and Product Delivery to develop successful product pilots and measure results Actively seek customer and market input and data as a source of product innovation Act as the SME during initial roll-out and provide support when needed Responsible for continuous improvement of product post-commercialization This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: * 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: * 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD * In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/equivalent with five or more years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. * Ability to work some flexible hours due to varying time zones across Visa's regions. * Possess a unique blend of business and technically savvy.
