The Senior Financial Analyst based in Madison, NJ will assist the FP&A Associate Director with the reporting, forecasting and analysis responsibilities for multiple functions under G&A. The position will work cross-functionally and internationally with colleagues in Finance, Commercial, Information Technology, R&D, and Global Operations.

Main Areas of Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue financial reporting for monthly close, quarterly forecasts and budget.

  • Assist with preparation of financial summary decks used by Management.

  • Monthly headcount tracking and reporting.

  • Distribution, collection and consolidation of cost center forecasts and budgets.

  • Utilize reporting tools to build new ad hoc analysis and reporting to driving

  • automation and efficiency where possible.

  • Analyze and prepare variance commentary of monthly financial results to better understand and project financial performance.

  • Research vendor level details using SAP.

  • Provide insight into trends which may require management action.

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis to respond to business needs.

  • Prepare journal entries for month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing process.


The following listed requirements need to be met at a minimum level to be considered for the job:

  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW) and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under tight deadlines.

  • Strong personal computer skills, primarily in the areas of financial spreadsheets and presentation formats.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated attention to detail.


  • BS Degree with emphasis in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, with MBA / CPA / CMA preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years financial planning experience.
