The Business Practice Specialist (BPS) is responsible for the coordination and execution of operational practice support for healthcare providers in the assigned territory to ensure safe and effective use of BOTOX ® .
The BPS appropriately leverages programs, tools and resources to help customers understand barriers that may impede or delay appropriate patient access to treatment and/or prevent optimal patient outcomes and works with providers and their practice personnel to enhance operational processes (including those related to reimbursement) specific to the use of BOTOX ® for approved indications.
The BPS helps practices maintain appropriate and accurate billing and coding practices for BOTOX® in line with payer requirements and to the highest levels of specificity. The BPS works effectively and appropriately with key Allergan stakeholders (BPS Sr Region Manager, NSS, HSM, UMC, Sales Managers / Directors and Managed Markets Account Managers) in a heavily-matrixed environment to achieve the targeted results. The employee conducts all work activities in compliance with all Allergan internal requirements and with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Bachelors’ degree, MBA desirable
An in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the health care environment, including practice management and marketing.
A minimum of 3 years successful experience in at least two of the following areas:
Sales / Sales Management
Business consulting (or equivalent) in a health related field
Experience with physician-administered injectables
Strong working knowledge of office reimbursement processes related to the use of BOTOX®

Ability to travel with approximately 10-15% overnight travel including some weekend work.
Subject matter expertise within Neurosciences, including:
Proven experience in consulting to include:
Individual Account Management
Development of internal Account Business Plan and Client
Candidate must live in the West Palm Beach area.
Position will require some overnight travel
