JPMorgan Chase CAO Chief Data Office Analytics Senior Associate in Plano, Texas

The CAO Data Strategy, Governance and Business Intelligence team is responsible for the overall data strategy and governance across the firm's CAO functions. This function supports Global Supplier Services, Global Security & Investigations, Global Real Estate, Firmwide Business Workforce Strategy, Global Business Resiliency, Travel and Amenities Services. Our team's mission is to help our organization manage our data assets, and find the best solutions to surface insights from our data in an effort to drive new business insights, enhance analytics and streamline reporting. In doing so, we look for improvements ranging from establishing quality data repositories to designing cutting edge analytic insights utilizing the latest data visualization and machine learning tools. We are seeking an Analytics Solutions, Senior Associate to support our ever-expanding book of work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly and quarterly management reports including the Third Party Oversight (TPO) and Inter-Affiliate Oversight (IAO) scorecards, and submissions for both teams into the Firmwide Control Committee

  • Produce periodic regulatory reports associated with Resolution & Recovery (R&R) in the United States, the UK's Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR), the European Union's Single Resolution Board (SRB) and any other periodic reporting requests from regulatory bodies globally

  • Ensure the timely preparation and submission of data for display in Resolution Appendix Production Information Delivery System (RAPIDS)

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of automated data feeds and monthly manual data loads

  • Maintain a series of mapping tables used in the generation of several key reports, including management and regulatory reports

  • Perform data quality review processes to identify issues and coordinate activity required to remediate

  • Coordinate with stakeholders in the Lines of Business and Corporate Functions to review and sign-off on regulatory R&R reports

  • Drive process improvement to enhance reporting and analysis while gaining efficiencies

  • Lead and/or support ad hoc analytic projects and requests

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or related discipline preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Financial Services reporting, data and analytics or business analysis roles

  • Strong advocate for data quality and integrity

  • Ability to dig in and understand data issues and use that knowledge to effectively operationalize recurring review processes

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to plan, organize, prioritize and execute to hit multiple conflicting timelines

  • Ability to operate in a collaborative and cooperative environment, and must possess the strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively and communicate effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization

  • Adapts well to changing scope and complexity of work brought on by business growth

  • Highly Proficient in Excel and strong MS Power Point and SharePoint skills

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity and experience with other reporting tools such as MS Access, Oracle, Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau and Alteryx
