Your day to day

Can you stay one step ahead of maintenance challenges to make our guests’ safety and comfort your number one priority?We’re searching for a Head of Maintenance that goes further to make sure his team always puts safety first.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

● Managing daily maintenance needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task

● Carrying our a preventative maintenance programme that creates a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy

● Helping to prepare the departmental budget and keeping tight control of expenses

● Leading hotel renovations and other projects, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget

● Maintaining good working relationships with outside contractors

What we need from you

• One year experience in hotel maintenance strongly preferred or two years of experience in apartment maintenance

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to organize your time efficiently

• Must be able to work with various software including Excel, Word, Slack, Windows OS, etc.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent English and demonstrate the ability to communicate diligently and effectively

• Must pass a background check

• Must be physically capable of performing the functions associated with commercial property maintenance tasks such as lifting, pulling, crouching, climbing, etc.

• You must be able to provide two verifiable professional references from previous employers.

• This is an hourly position starting at $18 per hour (negotiable DOE)

• Bonus structure available with up to $250 in monthly awards depending on performance
