About the position: The Health Compliance Organization is seeking an experienced instructional designer to develop training solutions for a diverse, global audience. As a senior instructional designer, you will create and uplift learning solutions that enable employees to deliver best in class healthcare products and services. You will represent learning programs in internal and external audits to help demonstrate the competency of our workforce.

Note: The Health Compliance Learning team is an international team and supports employees and audits across the globe.

Role and Responsibilities: (“What You’ll Do”)

  • Apply your vast knowledge of adult learning and learner-centric development to design engaging and effective learning solutions.

  • Create web-based trainings, job aids, and other learning deliverables on key health regulations and job-specific processes and tools.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) to draft well-informed content for a diverse, global audience.

  • Own projects from start to finish, including assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training solutions.

  • Represent the health compliance learning program in internal and external audits and maintain and present training documentation.

  • Help establish standards and best practices for Oracle’s newly formed Health Compliance Learning program.

  • Coach and mentor team members new to instructional design on visual and instructional design best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 4+ years of learning design and development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in various authoring tools (preferably Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Vyond).

  • Strong background in Learning Management System (LMS) administration.

  • Ability to work with SMEs and stakeholders at various levels (including C-suite) and manage multiple high-profile projects at one time.

  • Experience explaining highly complex concepts in simple and visually appealing ways.

  • Desire to coach and mentor team members new to instructional design and grow the Health Compliance Learning function.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree.

  • Experience supporting a highly regulated industry.

  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness through the Kirkpatrick Model or an equivalent approach.

  • Industry certification in adult learning, instructional design, performance improvement, or project management.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
