Job Purpose

Convert raw resin from blended powder to stock rectangular shape. Clean, Fill, Press, and Extract Plate molds to produce specific sizes of plate in accordance with floor schedule.

Principal Accountabilities

• Cleaning, proper storage, & upkeep of plate molds and assemblies including insertion of data into tool kit database; mold assembly preparation.

• Perform operator PM’s on the machines.

• Use & understanding of drying oven run sheets; molding run sheets; manufacturing orders.

• Filling molds

• Operation of the Pathex and Williams & White presses

• Pressing & ejecting molds, either by plate extractor unit or 500 ton press; meeting production requirements and activities as required by the business; process troubleshooting as necessary

• Use of vacuum hoist, various hand and power tools, plate sander and measuring equipment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Attending and participating Safety Huddles and Department Meetings

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

• Completion of required process and quality records.

• Production reporting using barcode system; access and use of SOPs, JSAs, Exhibits, and Control Plans on company intranet.

• Use of various hand and power tools and measuring equipment.

• Proficiency with both stand-up and walk-behind Fork trucks: OSHA license required.

• The salary range for this position is $22.02. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
