Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day tasks and projects

• Collaborate with team members to update vendor master records accurately and in a timely manner

• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and other regulatory requirements throughout the vendor master record update process

• Conduct callbacks to vendors to verify and validate information as needed

• Assist with data entry and maintenance of accounts payable records

• Provide administrative support to the Accounts Payable team as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Must be a student currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance or a related field

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance is preferred but not required

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
