Job Description

* Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and cleans of ALD equipment

* Perform system upgrades and retrofits

* Perform wafer teaching

* Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair on facilities support equipment such as pumps, chillers, gas cabinets and abatement systems

* Good knowledge of MFCs, pressure transducers/gauges, gasboxes, ECAT, DNet, PLC etc.

* Perform gas cylinder and liquid precursor canister change out

* Create documents for tool maintenance procedures and checklists

* Create and update Work Instructions

* Perform Design Reviews pre- and post-build

* Monitor systems, support equipment and facilities parameters and report the system performance and issues

* Electrical Mechanical Test/troubleshoot system down to component level

* Be able to read gas schematics, BOM structures, manuals, ECNs, etc.

* Work in coordination with Engineering, Software, QA, materials groups, etc.

* Support activities associated with pre-installation, installation, and start-up of ALD deposition equipment

* Perform Final Assembly and Test (FAT)

* Perform programming (Robotics, PLC)

* Support New Product Introductions and transfers including providing training

Skills and Requirements

* Good understanding of mechanical, electrical and control systems

* Vacuum assembly and leak testing experience

* 8+ years job-related experience on semiconductor capital equipment (CVD/ALD deposition systems preferred)

* Strong written and verbal communications skills

* Must be able to lift 40lbs

* Must be able to use SCBA

* Testing digital and analog systems helpful

* Must be willing to be on call - weekday evenings, weekends -- days/nights

* Must be able to travel domestic/international up to 30% null
