Robert Half Senior HR Generalist in Santa Monica, California

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Generalist for our client in Santa Monica. This role focuses on various aspects of employee relations, benefits administration, and policy writing with a strong emphasis on compliance and fostering a positive workplace environment. Candidates must have experience with investigations. This is an onsite role, Monday through Friday from 8-5.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee employee relations matters including conflict resolution and performance management

• Manage workers' compensation claims process in collaboration with insurance providers and legal teams

• Facilitate accommodations for employees with disabilities or medical conditions, ensuring compliance with ADA regulations

• Administer leave of absence programs including FMLA and other statutory leave requirements

• Develop and communicate HR policies and procedures, aligning them with legal requirements and company objectives

• Lead employee communications initiatives to promote transparency and engagement

• Partner with HR Team on administration of employee benefits programs including health insurance and retirement plans

• Periodically revise and update the Employee Handbook

• Handle other duties as assigned

• Utilize skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HRMS, About Time, Benefit Functions, Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources Administrator role or similar

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with Ceridian, HRMS, About Time software

• Experience in managing Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Understanding of Compliance procedures in a Human Resources setting

• Excellent skills in Employee Relations

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
