Supply Chain Operations Finance Manager Capital and Strategic Investments

Nordstrom is seeking a Finance Manager that is customer focused, data-driven, organized, and with a high level of curiosity to join our Supply Chain finance team to support capital and strategic investments. This person will provide exceptional data driven analytics, reporting, and cross-divisional partnership to Supply Chain partners, as well as perform ad hoc requests supporting key investments for our new and existing network.

**This is a hybrid role in Seattle, WA (3 days per week in office)

This individual will be focused on reporting, analyzing and communicating the impacts of Supply Chain capital and strategic project spend. This role requires an individual with strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills. The candidate will work closely with key stakeholders to build business cases, develop financial models as well as govern capital spend. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

A day in the life…

• Partner with cross-functional teams (operations, facilities, FP&A, Accounting) in planning and analyzing capital spend

• Support the capital management process through continuous forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning

• Track and communicate capital performance through reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to ensure transparency and accountability

• Build financial business cases and cash flow models to assess the ROI of strategic investments and key business decisions

• Identify areas for improvement, efficiencies, and automation around current processes, reporting, and financial systems. Streamline. Standardize. Simplify.

  You own this if you have….

• Bachelor's degree (finance or economics preferred)

• 7 plus years of experience in finance or economics with scope and accountability progression

• Preferred experience within Supply Chain (finance or operations)

• Experience with corporate metrics and analytical methods

• Experienced in driver-based financial model building that is scalable and flexible

• SQL and Tableau knowledge preferred

• Superior MS Excel abilities, including the ability to use formulas, functions & pivot tables

• Experience with Hyperion-Essbase, Cognos, Tableau, and dashboard reporting a plus

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy a must

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $80,000 - $155,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
