Responsibilities: Liaison between New Shepard production test org and New Shepard Quality Review of test anomalies and part non-conformances due to testing activities Lead vehicle acceptance reviews and ensure adherence to and health of acceptance process Establish, implement, maintain, and enforce quality system processes that support products in development and production environments Measure, analyze, and improve quality system performance consistent with organization quality goals Integrate quality system applications between engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure the consistent and ongoing use of quality best practices and communication of quality issues Lead Material Review Board meetings for major nonconformances Review and approve manufacturing build documents including work orders and nonconformance records Perform periodic audits of the application of our quality system in accordance with AS9100 Facilitate troubleshooting of quality issues with diverse teams, lead causal analysis activities to drive to root cause and corrective action Recommend and improve initiatives and/or changes that will improve product and system quality Collaborate with internal and external customers on quality related concerns; develop and present training materials to build quality awareness Provide Quality support on multiple programs and work centers across the New Shepard Program Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. in Engineering/Science 5 years of Quality, Engineering and/or Manufacturing experience in an aviation/aerospace manufacturing environment Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO9000 QMS and/or related quality systems and programs Excellent communication skills, organized, attention to detail, and self-starter Experience with Root Cause Corrective Actions, Process Improvements, and/or Kaizens Experience with GD&T fundamentals Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
