Robert Half Benefits Administrator in Secaucus, New Jersey

Description

Retail company is seeking a contract Benefits Administrator for approximately 3 to 6 months to help with the day to day leave of absence administration for an

  • Manage all aspects of employee leave, including FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leave types, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave inquiries, providing guidance and support throughout the leave process.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and third-party administrators to facilitate the administration of leave programs and ensure seamless communication and processing.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all leave requests, approvals, and associated documentation, utilizing HRIS or other designated systems.

  • Collaborate with HR partners to provide training and education on leave policies and procedures, fostering understanding and compliance across the organization.

    Requirements

• Proven experience in Benefits role or similar HR position

• Strong knowledge of benefits administration and coordination

• Experience in administrative assistance tasks such as scheduling, office management, and record keeping

• Proficient in leave of absence management and regulations

• Ability to process invoices and maintain financial records accurately

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities

• Proficient in using HR software and tools

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Demonstrated understanding of labor laws and employment equity regulations.
