What You’ll Do

We keep your world running seamlessly in ways both unnoticeable and remarkable. Our fastening systems connect the world’s cars and electronics, and our infrastructure solutions build the world’s roads, pipelines and sewer systems.

As a Business Support Manager you’ll be part of our team located in Shanghai . You’ll get to:

  1. Business strategy definition

a. Regularly gather both macro information (PEST) and industry segment market Information and competitor intelligence for further discussion and evaluation with China management team

b. Customer strategy meeting (CSM)

c. Business strategy meeting (BSM)

d. EV business development strategy

2.China P&L business steering

a. Establish the digital reporting system to monitor overall company performance and bring transparency to China organization

b. Daily sales progress update (reporting only)

c. Weekly sales meeting: Mon or early Tue for MTD business outlook.

d. Weekly SCM for customer project review: new quotation release, customer project development quality gate release.

e. Monthly: China MBR set up. I’ll join one of Global MBR session to get best practice.

f. Annual strategy meeting

3.Strategical project ownership

a. EV

b. Digital, transportation, energy and construction segment penetration strategy

  1. Organizational development

a. Support China management team to develop China organization to fit our organization and competence for future business trend

b .Drive the implementation of “One China, One team, One goal”

c. Vision / mission / culture push through

5.Cost ownership and continuous improvement

a. tracking the performance of nego, MAT supplier dynamics

b. Cost benchmarking with Stanley other locations, eg. US, DE, UK…, and externally with competitors

c. Cost down activity in material and value add, define best fit in material source, design, production efficiency

d. Total cost ownership to drive lean management and SG&A efficiency

6.Commercial excellence

a. Price management

b. Quotation management and cost evaluation for higher RFQ hit rate

Monitor sales progress against forecast, and update forecast based on latest business status

c. Collect, consolidate and refine sales forecast, make evaluation to optimize OP & FCST

7.Other co-ordination work for CEM.

Who You Are

  • Master's degree, MBA would be a plus.

  • Strategical thinking.

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Have some knowledge and understanding of the automotive industry or the new energy vehicle market.

  • Strong data analysis skills, especially in the application of Power BI and PPT. Have experience in building data platform.

  • Ability to think strategically and analyze logically.

  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Quick learning and good time management skills.
