Job Description:

An NIH postdoctoral position to study leukocyte-platelet-blood vessel crosstalk in Sickle Cell Disease is immediately available. The Stokes lab, in the Department of Molecular & Cellular Physiology, has a major interest in cerebrovascular diseases and inflammatory and thrombotic pathways intersect to impair vascular function. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and be a driven individual able to work independently. Applicants should also have a strong record of research productivity and have experience in cell culture and molecular techniques, as well as mouse surgical models.
