Responsibilities

  • Lead Kemin Human Nutrition and Health expansion and sales growth in the territory. Achieve consistent growth in sales and gross margin in accordance with annual sales budgets.

  • Act as the primary interface between customers and Kemin.

  • Collaborate with the marketing department in developing and implementing a marketing plan for the territory.

  • Carry out specific responsibilities in each step of the sales process, which includes:

  • Identifying prospective customers

  • Developing, executing, documenting and maintaining sufficient customer sales projects to exceed sales growth expectations for the territory

  • Authoring and executing strategic plans for key customers.

  • Establishing relationships with individuals at the all levels of the customers’ organization

  • Making technical sales presentations on Kemin products/services

  • Cooperating with product development efforts

  • Obtaining at least 20 face-to-face meetings with customers each month

  • Develops and maintains customer database. Assures maintenance of sales report database (Nexa)

  • Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups to strengthen the integration of Kemin Human Nutrition and Health products into the dietary supplement, food and beverage industries.

  • Complete appropriate reporting of customer activity in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree preference for biology, chemistry or food science with 5-10 years of experience working in the dietary supplement, food ingredient, beverage or pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated sales experience and success an industrial/technical selling environment requiring lengthy and in-depth product development processes.

  • The ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with peers and all levels of management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • A high degree of personal motivation, a desire to make an immediate contribution and a distinct sense of urgency.

Work location: Guangzhou is preferred.
