Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, Immunology & Inflammation in Tarrytown, New York

The Senior Medical Director, Immunology & Inflammation, will provide overall clinical scientific leadership for Regeneron’s Immunology & Inflammation programs and have responsibility for our clinical development strategy and execution of clinical trials in this area. This role will be a key partner with the Global Program Head for Immunology & Inflammation to design the optimal development strategy for our Immunology & Inflammation portfolio. This role will serve as the primary representative for Immunology & Inflammation to a range of audiences, including Internal Medicine leadership, Regeneron executive leadership, development partners, and US and global regulatory agencies.

A typical day in the life of a Medical Director may include the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design and execution of all Immunology & Inflammation-related POC through registration-enabling studies and provide input to the medical affairs team for LCM activities

  • Works closely with discovery teams to provide input on the next generation of targets in the field

  • Leads multi-disciplinary clinical teams charged with guiding and executing clinical development strategies and subsequent regulatory submissions

  • Responsible for the relevance and accuracy of medical science underpinning of clinical study concepts (CSC) based on thorough scientific review and consultation with internal and external experts

  • Serves as the primary representative for Immunology & Inflammation to a range of audiences, including Internal Medicine leadership, Regeneron executive leadership, development partners, and US and global regulatory agencies.

This job may be for you if you have the following:

  • An advanced degree in medicine (i.e. M.D or DO or equivalent) with applicable post-doctoral fellowship training in Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Dermatology, Allergy/Immunology, and/or Rheumatology (board certified or eligible or equivalent)

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical development, with at least 5 years in industry and the remainder of experience may have been acquired in an academic setting

The salary ranges provided are shown in accordance with U.S. law and apply to U.S. based positions, where the hired candidate will be located in the U.S. If you are outside the U.S, please speak with your recruiter about salaries and benefits in your location.

Salary Range (annually)

$321,900.00 - $435,500.00
