Your Role:

Focused primarily on our Tindal NT site, your new role is pivotal to ensuring the safety, health and wellbeing of our employees while promoting the sustainability of NGA operations.

Your contributions are essential in proactively implementing our Safety, Health, and Wellbeing, Environment, and Sustainability Strategy. You will focus on identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, conducting measurements, and implementing protective measures. Additionally, you will play a key part in providing effective training to ensure compliance with federal and state occupational safety standards.

Your responsibilities include incident investigations, follow-ups on incident reports, supporting safety committees, conducting risk assessments, preparing evacuation practices, and training individuals in safety practices. Collaboration is central to your role, involving explaining the "why" to engage the workforce in collective safety efforts.

Working within a dedicated EHS team and benefiting from the larger NGA network, you have the opportunity to apply your experience to enhance existing processes and procedures requiring updates and compliance.

With a minimum of a Certificate IV in Work, Health, and Safety, relevant certifications, and a proven track record in environment, health, and safety, your impact will be substantial. Your commitment to excellence, coupled with an NV1 security clearance, solidifies your essential role within our team.
