Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Import and Export Coordinator to join our team. As a vital member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods in compliance with corporate policies and Import/Export regulations. From managing documentation to maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors, your role will be pivotal in guaranteeing timely and accurate shipment processes. Essential Functions:

  • Ensure all documents comply with corporate policies and Import/Export regulations.

  • Maintain constant communication with customers regarding important shipment issues.

  • File ISF and Customs Clearance with Customs Brokers promptly.

  • Track all shipments and update clients and vendors on shipment status and progress.

  • Receive, review, generate, or process import-related documentation (e.g., ISF’s, BL’s, Commercial Invoices).

  • Create various documents such as delivery orders, arrival notices, and truck BL’s.

  • File AES’s and make bookings with NVOCC’s and Ocean Carriers.

  • Arrange bookings with freight forwarders for outbound air shipments.

  • Book truckers to meet customer delivery dates when possible.

  • Ensure timely cargo pick-up and delivery.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers and group affiliates.

  • Accurately enter data to generate billing invoices and packets.

  • Send billing packets to customers and overseas offices promptly.

  • Work with vendors to obtain and create quotations as per management’s instructions.

  • Organize and store shipment records and billing packets appropriately.

  • Provide logistic support to other branch offices as required.

  • Create reports requested by customers as necessary.

  • Investigate and resolve freight-related issues such as Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OS& D), and initiate claims when needed.

  • Participate in meetings as requested by management.

  • Perform other duties as instructed by the manager, including visiting customers/vendors for meetings and business trips.
