We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Specialist to provide ownership over our functional data. As a highly acquisitive company, we need this role to support the migration and maintenance of operational data from source to target systems.

Data Migration

• Spearhead data migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency

• Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, decisions and configurations for audit purposes and future reference

• Action and provide recommendations to our data migration playbook

Project Leadership:

• Lead cross-functional mapping sessions to ensure migration accuracy remains high

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all data migration-related communications, updates and issue resolution

Strategy & Planning:

• Design and execute data strategies that align with the company's business objectives

• Remain updated on technology trends to keep the organization ahead in data management

Data Quality and Governance

• Monitor data quality, identify data issues and coordinate remediation plans to maintain the accuracy and consistency of integrated data

• Contribute to the development and enforcement of data governance policies, ensuring data integration practices adhere to organizational standards and requirements

Skills & Other Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving skills, focusing on outcomes and results

• Understanding of SQL, query skills, and Business Intelligence concepts

• Working knowledge of available data sources and how they relate to each other

• Collaborative working style and ability to facilitate cooperation with business stakeholders and analysts

• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job

• Advanced Excel knowledge

• Understanding of SOQL

• Exposure to enterprise CRM/ERP solutions
