Allied Universal Training and Compliance Security Manager in Vance, Alabama

Allied Universal® is hiring a Training and Compliance Manager. The Training and Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all required portfolio training as well as Allied Universal and client standards. The position reports directly to the Account Manager.

Annual Salary: $65,000 / Year.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

TRAINING:

  • Manage the training function for a team ofofficers and responders, site supervisors, and/or shift supervisors, including coaching, development, and support.

  • Develop and deliver training modules—scenario-based and OJT—compliant with the circle of skills assessment model and development of employees for future roles and opportunities.

  • Support Free Trade Zone (“FTZ”) sites with the development of materials, training to standard, and assisting as necessary to ensure proficiency and understanding.

  • Work in conjunction with the Account Manager/Assistant Account Manager to develop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)

  • Coordinate and conduct site-specific OJT to the complete circle of skills standard, client-specific training, and annual refresher training; training audits; gate vehicle inspections for “cat-pipes” copper or other high-value material pilferage prevention for security personnel; and meet Allied Universal’s corporate training standards.

  • With corporate assistance as needed, create and institute a Security Field Training Officer program that is constantly building upon previous successes and enables a more competent cadre of security professionals to provide AUS with professional and capable security personnel.

COMPLIANCE:

  • Track and maintain compliance of all client and Allied Universal compliance requirements as related to risk and safety for the security force; assist in the development and/or delivery of the same for the client workforce.

  • Track and maintain compliance of all training related KPI’s as outlined in the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Scope of Work (SOW).

  • Track and maintain records of all training, OJT, JSA, Safety Orientation CPR and other deliverables as required.

  • Track and maintain records of all Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) for security staff.

  • Develop, track, and deliver reporting on training specific to all FTZ sites.

  • Develop, track, and deliver reporting on Circle of Skills status for all employees at MBUSI sites.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of three (3) years of classroom instructor experience

  • Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required, including, but not limited to:

  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor

  • Instructor certifications in supplement training areas as required by contract

  • Must have a valid driver’s license or be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

  • Ability to update training documents, and prepare extensive presentations.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).

  • Leadership skills that foster teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving desired results

  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support client's growth and satisfaction

  • Results-oriented problem-solving skills that meet client and employee needs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • College Degree

  • Prior experience in the fire service, security industry, law enforcement, and/or military

  • Experience in security operations or other functions of security industry
