Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Ventura, California, to manage our billing, collections, and account follow-up activities. This role primarily involves handling customer credit applications, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with specified guidelines. It also includes responsibilities related to pharmacy collections and reconciliation of pharmacy payments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the billing, collections, and account follow-up on claims, denials, correspondence, documentation, and account inquiries

• Handle pharmacy collections and reconcile pharmacy payments in Cardinal Central Pay and database to deposits in the bank

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer credit accounts

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Maintain complete knowledge of Managed Care, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and PPO payors to ensure compliance of specific guidelines and rules

• Ensure the company is being reimbursed by the payor in accordance with governmental or contract terms

• Efficiently navigate databases and prepare reports

• Utilize Microsoft Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, INDEX, MATCH, and Pivot tables for data reconciliation and analysis

• Collaborate with the team to achieve overall financial objectives. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Medical Collections

• University Degree in a related field

• Ability to perform Account Analysis efficiently
