This is a 2nd shift position.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Document the pre-shift safety inspection checklist (digital Conduct and document safety observations and report any hazardous conditions (digital) Promote a safe work environment and contribute to engage members of the team to work safely, and actively participate on the Company's Safety Observation Program Place associates in the correct spot and provide the game plan for the day (huddle meeting) Setup line according to schedule (correct die, recipe, filler block, harp, etc.) Ensure equipment is set up to maintain required productivity levels without compromising safety and/or quality (equipment guards are on and correct throughout the line Ensure that Quality Standards and quality control points are maintained and verified. Report any Quality issues in a timely manner and be available to help with quality investigation and corrective actions implementation and reinforcementKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED At least 3 years of experience in a food-processing, pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing organization Working knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP Demonstrate understanding of production scheduling and other production variables such as run-rates, processing times, change-over times, etc. Know how to operate all machinery (APV, Vemag, Pattyn, GENERIC1, GENERIC 2) as necessary.
