Job Summary and Qualifications

The Surgical Services Asst is responsible for cleaning the entire surgical suite including PACU and Day Surgery, as well as between surgical procedures as per policy. The person in this position is responsible for the safe transporting of patients to, from, and within the operating room. The orderly performs shave preps preoperatively as needed and acts as a courier between the related units of the facility and the operating room and other duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• High school or GED

• 1 – 3 years experience

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Other-Fingerprint Required
