Job Summary and Qualifications

The Support Specialist provides a wide range of support for the surgical services regarding their supply and equipment needs. The support includes the furnishing of sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment and services for the care and treatment of patients. The Support Specialist is also responsible for the creation, maintenance, deletion and process of preference cards. Point person for maintaining the Surgical Services CDM (request deletion of items unnecessary, update descriptions, work with IS/SC to reconcile differences on pricing, improve the entry screens to question overall charge entry flow)

What qualifications you will need:

• High school or GED

• 1 – 3 years relevant exp

• Computer – EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK

• Clerical –Organizational Skills

• Finger Print Background

• Medical Terminology Preferred
